SEPTERMBER 2012

September is always fair month for us. we spend tons and tons of time at the fair. we buy season passes and Madison gets in free so the cost doesnt change. so this year we milked a goat! Madison got right in there and didnt even think twice about it...she did a pretty good job too. I failed at milking the goat twice so apparently my 1 year old is better at it then me.

she loved the coloring area and princesses running around. but my favorite is seeing her walk around with her giant drink...and she drank that whole thing too.
a rare shot of anthony hiding in a blanket because he was cold.

We cant believe it but Madison finally started talking. here's a quick video of her and her brand new word!

This little girl loves her daddy more than anything. she cant wait for him to get home every night.

We got to see our new little edition for this first time this month (10 weeks along)

Madison has become quite the good little helper around the house.

the picture on the right is of my 12 week belly.

We couldn't find a babysitter one night for date night so we took Madison with us to eat sushi. she ate really good and we couldn't believe how much of it she ate. At this point the only thing i cant get her to eat is broccoli.

we went out to dinner at claim jumpers in corona for my dad's 50th birthday. we also let our family know that we were expecting.

Okay so it might be possible that me and Madison had a little sticker party one night. we had a blast!

Daddy started working on the baby's room this month as well. we have to renovate the whole room so we started with stripping the room. first came the closet!
we kept having major issues with Madison's crib and her getting caught in the bars. so we decided to see what would happen if we tried to change over to a toddler bed. so we moved her mattress on the floor to see if she could handle it. The night went totally smooth so we decided to go a head and put the toddler rail on her crib and see what happens.

Needless to say everything was a success and she has slept in her big girl bed every night since. and we have only found her sleeping on the floor by the door once.

She is my Best friend and we love her so very much.

AUGUST 2012

we had quite a few fun adventures in august. one of our favorites was going to the discovery science center. It was an even better day because daddy got to come with us!

Madison loved all the sensory things to do.

Daddy had lots of fun too!
 Earthquake simulator

pretending to be an elephant and pick up a block

pretending to be a turtle. she even crawled through the tunnel

her favorite by far was the slide

All in all it was a great day and we had a blast!

 Not my favorite!

She was toast by the time we left!
One of the things my family does every year is go to a fish fry put on by my grandfathers boy scout troop...its pretty safe to say that Madison's very favorite part of the fish fry was the corn. We had trouble getting it away from her.

Playing at the park with grandma

Love the daddy daughter moments that happen every once in a while. I love these two so much
We also found out that Madison is going to have a sibling this month. we're very excited for her to have someone to play with, grow with, and love unconditionally. our new little addition will be here Around April 5, 2013

we have been doing a scavenger hunt with our ward all summer and one of the fun things on the list was to make home made butter. here's a quick video of madison making homemade butter. we had lots of fun and really enjoyed the small family moments that this list has created.

 Making homemade butter

Another one of those fun things on the list of things to do was to do a tour at the krispie kreme donut store where they make the donuts right in front of you

these are one of those moments that a mommy of a little girl is very excited for. Madison started to pretend to feed and take care of her "babies" (her monkeys)

One of the other end of summer traditions we try to do to support my sister's band at chino high school. they throw a spaghetti dinner every year to raise money for the kids. after the dinner the band puts on their field show for the audience. Madison loves her aunt Kelly more than anyone and was so excited when Kelly pulled her over the fence to come and play on the field with her.
