OCTOBER 2012

Madison is finally at an age where we can take her to special places and she really understands and enjoys whats going on around her. so we took her on her very first trip to Disneyland! my mom and kelly went with us too and we all had a blast!

She wasn't a big fan of riding the little kid rides.

She loved getting to ride the merry go round with her auntie Kelly.

Toward the end of the month Cal poly does a pumpkin patch with lots and lots of things to do and you can pick any pumpkin on the whole field for just $3.00. So we hit the petting zoo first...I was a little surprised at how excited Madison was to pet all the animals.

She loved the cow and followed it everywhere.
Kylie came with us.

We got to play on the tractor and go through a corn maze

Then we headed to pick our pumpkins from the giant field

We went to an Anderson family reunion. there weren't very many kids there and the ones that were there
weren't anywhere near her age so she got impatient and frustrated quickly.

I love these two!

Playing with her Great Aunt Toni who loves her greatly.

Since Madison cant carve a pumpkin i have let her paint her pumpkin for the last two years. It works great. she gets to make the pumpkin her own and i don't have to worry!

HALLOWEEN NIGHT

Madison went as a bumblebee mostly because it was the only costume i could find that was long enough in the arms and she wasn't swimming in...but she shure made a cute bumble bee if I do say so myself.

Checking out her loot!

our 4th anniversary was in September and we finally got to celebrate this month. My sweet husband took me to an amazing restaurant called orange hill. the food was amazing. and the view was just absolutely beautiful. it was a wonderful evening.

I know these photo's are kinda dark but here's a couple of pictures of Madison doing her developmental therapy.

i have started collecting thins we need for the baby and i thought i would put a picture of the start of the baby's nursery and show the progress as we go

14 weeks pregnant

18 weeks pregnant

Madison got very sick this month but i'm quickly learning that her body does not know how to have a little fever. if she gets a fever its a high fever. so we ended up in the ER instead of at a halloween party. but when she's sick all she wants is her daddy.

as she gets older she loves to read more and more.

3 month therapy update

Madison's therapy is coming along really well I was worried we wouldn't see much progression in such a short time but in all honesty we have seen huge improvements in her over all development. She has started walking which was originally part of the concern especially since the way she walks is very odd. We were asked to have her feet checked and sure enough she has bones that don't sit right causing her to have very flat feet. The flat feet are making it difficult for her to walk with any stability. To fix this we will be getting her plastic inserts for her shoes called orthotics. In most of the other categories she has improved vastly here's the report

Evaluation was June 2012
Cognitive 11-15 months
Language 5-6 months
Gross motor 12-13 months
Fine motor 11-14 months
Social 15 months
Self help
Feeding 12-14 months

We're very proud of her and will continue to push her in the right direction
