Nursing School Level One

medications must be poured at eye level to be accurate...which at times can make you cross eyed

we start passing meds in a week I'm so nervous there's so much to know

drawing up heparin...must be very accurate (notice I'm not even looking at the syringe)

tied down... wasn't so bad

Level one of nursing school is almost over. in this level was fundamentals, geriatric nursing which i got the highest grade in the class on, nutrition, and pharmacology. it ends on the 30th of July with the final for pharmacology and a skills testing where we have to prove we can do a head to toe assessment on a person, insert a catheter using sterile technique, and check a persons blood glucose level competently. wish me luck. by the way for those who read this i passed my pharmacology practicum about 30 seconds after it began! Level two is medical surgical nursing. we start with integument system, respiratory system, and musculoskeletal system.
