Our First Thanksgiving at our House

Anthony's Grandma Ruth was diagnosed with breast cancer recently so we made the decision to go ahead and do thanksgiving at our house. Another factor in that decision was that my grandparents sold the house they purchased in eastvale earlier this month and have moved in with my mom leaving them with no where to go either. it was suppose to be small anthony's family and my mom's parents. turns out my uncle jimmy needed somewhere to go and so did my dad's dad. so we ended up with 16 people it was amazing and I was super proud of myself I cooked a 13 lb turnkey all by myself!

3/4 of a Year

Caleb is already 8 months and boy is that going by fast this month he learned to:
    • Sit well without support
    • Bears weight on legs and moves feet in a walking motion
    • Adjusts his posture to reach an object
    • Picks up objects using index, fourth, and fifth finger against thumb
    • Able to release objects
    • Pulls a string to obtain object
    • Reaches for toys that are out of reach and then dives for them from a sitting position
    • Listens selectively to familiar words
    • He is starting to "talk" especially when we talk to him
    • Understands the word no (but does not always obey it!)
    • Dislikes diaper change and being dressed
    • Can pull his shoes off
    • Only uses a pacifier when he is sleeping
    • Drinks 3 7oz bottles during the day (ever 4 hours) and then an 8 oz at night before bed
    • He is also eating 4oz of babyfood and rice cereal 3 times a day
    • Started eating Gerber stars and lil crunchies

Wild Kingdom with Daddy

It is rare that daddy has a day off when we have nothing to do! no errands to run and no chores to do. But we recently did and so we decided to take the kids to a place called wild kingdom. basically the whole place is covered with giant jumpers that are either huge slides or large climb through obstical  courses.

Thanksgiving day play group

I joined this Playgroup about a month ago and I think they are amazing. There's lots of kids, everybody is super nice. For thanksgiving they had the kids do a craft with pine cones and they turned them into turkey's. Caleb is getting big enough and busy enough I have started letting him play with the kids here and there. However he has now started eating sand and I have not figured out how to keep him from doing so.

The kids or really the whole group get involved with a service project every year this year it was to collect pajamas for kids and teens to donate to a local shelter this was the result of all the donations

Someone is moble

OOOOh this boy is growing up way to fast. He can not crawl but he has not let that stop him. he can pivot on his belly and then roll in that direction. its not super effective but it sure is cute to watch him try.

Madison's Bestie's 3rd Birthday

Kylie has become a huge part of our family. I love this girl just as much as I love my own Kids. This big girl turned 3 in November and we were lucky enough to get to spend her birthday with her. We went to a place called sky high which is basically a huge trampoline park. We played dodge ball while jumping on trampolines (Madison was clueless but excited to play with the ball and i was really impressed none of the kids "attacked" her she was just in there to play around), we got to jump from trampoline to trampoline, jump into a foam pit, and do a rope swing into a foam pit.
After the trampoline park we went out to dinner with Kylie and her family. it was super fun and the food was awesome. we got to sing happy birthday and everything.

The following Monday Kylie had a super cute princess party that was all about the princess Sophia the first.

the girls got to dress up in their favorite princess dress and wear a crown to meet princess Sophia who by the way was one of the most amazing actresses I have seen. she sang to the kids, told them her whole story, painted their arms, and taked to them all about what ever they wanted.

can you see the stow away in the middle of all the princesses??

Madison showing me her painting that princess sophia did just for her.

Posing with princess Sophia!

this is what Caleb did for most of the party
