# 60 Ding Dong Ditch Someone and leave goodies for them

 This is one of our favorite activities and it didnt go well last year. We ding dong ditched someone who wasnt even home...takes all the fun out of the whole thing (and no we didnt know they weren't home at the time) so this year we decided to do this for our Family home evening on sunday, which is the only day anthony is home, annnd we knew people would be home.

Anthony ran like a crazy person and both kids were laughing as he ran into the car. Fun evening activity.

# 49 & 50 Try a new food and Help prepare the new food you try

This girl loves to cook in the kitchen with her mama.

 Ready to make pizza...every friday we make pizza and try a new one.

 Making the back up pizza in case the new one isn't good...she's so particular about how its made

Are new pizza to try...it was super yummy and a new favorite in this house.

# 104 Visit Sea World and # 16 Visit an aquaium

We got year passes to sea world in january when they had a special going where you buy a day and get a whole year for free.

We happened to be there just in time to see the penguins get their morning feeding and daily check up from their trainer.

Caleb on his first big adventure! He was quite the trooper

 The Pets Show...started with a cat...

 then came the dog...

 AND THEN A KANGAROO!

Just hanging with the polar bears

 and walruses while they are right next to the glass

the best part about going during the summer is the circ de la mar show at sea world its absolutely my favorite and i'm always blown away by what they can do!

While mommy rode the manta ray roller coaster  Madison hung out with grammy and played in the tide pools and got to touch the manta rays

and caleb "hung" around with daddy

after the ride and tide pools we headed over to watch the shamu show. This show has drastically changed since OSHA has changed all the rules for how the trainers can interact with the whales in order to keep the trainers safe.

it was a great day and went so well we decided to stay longer than planned and didnt get back home until around 10:15 or so

1st big boy haircut

Caleb's hair was getting out of control and I tried just trimming it a few months earlier but it just keeps getting hotter and he looks sooo uncomfortable. On days that are really hot his hair is wet on the underside so I decided it was time to shave it. People always say your going to regret cutting your babies hair the first time...which is why i just trimmed it the first time but I didn't and he is so much happier now.

 He freaked out so bad he threw up which is normal for his sister but not him.

However mommy is very happy with the haircut!

#73 Find an outfit for less than $5.00 at a thrift store

Running around to lots of different thrift stores trying to find an outfit for under $5.00 was actually alot of fun.

 The thrift store at the top actually asked us to leave because we had children with us! that was a first

 

Found tons of cool stuff at quality thrift ...we ended up getting madison a shirt and pants, caleb a whole outfit and a jacket. all for under $5.00

#94 Make a Candy Beach House

Learned tons of stuff for making gingerbread houses this winter while making our "beach" Houses.
1. Hot glue the thing together! were not going to eat it anyways so dont bother trying the  provided glue
2. ease up and let madison have fun with it...it doesnt have to be perfect
3. graham crackers are a very difficult substitute for ginger bread I need to find something else
4. caleb just eats the candy

#47 & 48 visit the horses, pigs, sheep or cows at calpoly & Visit the Farm Store at Cal Poly Pomona

Took Kelly to go out and see her new school as well as visit the animals and stop by the farm store for a treat

 Caleb got to eat a giant lollipop and Madison got some gummy bears!

Love this girl she is getting to be more and more fun as she gets older.

#59 Make Something from a Cardboard box

We were at Costco and I saw a huge box that looked perfect for a fun project so I snatched it up before they threw it away and took it home. The kids were so excited to have a box that I couldn't even make anything out of it before they were finding ways to play in it. They were so happy I just let them have it and play with it until they went to bed and I could turn it into something else to play with.

While the kids were sleeping I did a little cosmetic work on it and turned it into a castle.
